Obviously you’re over thinking it.
Mondays are blah, people hate even waking up on Monday morning.
Hey guess what? Monday Night Football is back so waking up won’t be quite the chore it was during the summer months. You now have something to look forward to on Mondays.
Seems like a perfect execution to an obvious strategy.
Advertising has a responsibility to entertain as well as inform and sell. If you’re a inviting yourself into someone’s home you’d better have a good excuse for being there.
