Think the iPhone isn’t the game changer it’s hyped to be? Stanford has launched an initiative to create new campus ready software for the iPhone in conjunction with Stanford student run TerriblyClever Design and a new iPhone Programming class that the school is offering this fall. They’re already testing 5 applications on campus that help [...]

New Seinfeld Microsoft Ads
Well everyone’s been waiting patiently for this to arrive since it was announced months ago that Crispin Porter + Bogusky was taking over a healthy piece of the Microsoft account. Here’s the first slice of the $300 million pie and I think they’re off to a pretty good start.
They were faced [...]

Watch U.S. video content with Netshade
My friend Grant just sent me this video of a little program called Netshade in action. It’s a program that supplies U.S. proxy servers to reroute your connection and give you access to U.S. only web content. This seems like something that must have been done before but I’ve yet to [...]

Ahhh to be young and on the web…
I had to get the new Wired Mag on my way home tonight. Julia Allison is on the cover. Yes Jakob laDouche’s exgf. Time might have named us all Person of the Year but has there ever been a more exciting time to be part of the communities we call home? Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, whatever, [...]

Big Giant Helvetica
Topherchris and Catbird are two of my favorite Tumblrs and two great web imagineers. Big Giant Helvetica is a nice simple site for when you simply want to send a simple message. Simple. Big. Helvetica. BigGiantHelvetica.com
I don’t think I would ever use this now that I think of it. Just like now do this I [...]

WordPress for iPhone
I haven’t been able to put down my iPhone since the jailbreak was released yesterday and I was introduced to iPhone 2.0
The iPhone SDK is a game changer. I have no doubt it’s going to change the way people communicate on the Internet. Anyways, I’m pretty into the fact that this post is coming from [...]

Facebook is Changing
Facebook’s finally getting a major overhaul. It looks like they’re making a bigger version of how iPhone Facebook looks where things are tabbed and horizontal oriented. Looks good!
A bunch of industry people weighed in over at Creativity on how they’d change Facebook given the chance.

I’m finally on Tumblr
So after looking at my cool friends with their fancy Tumblr blogs I finally broke down and started one last night. I’m still going to blog here (hopefully I don’t get lazy) but I’ll also have a place to add random pics, videos and music if I want.
Check out the aptly named ihavegoodtaste.tumblr.com

Drunk Jeff Goldblum
What do you get when you slow down Jeff Goldblum hawking iMacs?
You get drunk Jeff Goldblum iMac commercials.
Works for me.

Muxtape!
I’d been hearing Muxtape dropped around the internets the past couple days but hadn’t taken the time to look yet. Finally did tonight and I am hooked, such a great concept, design, interface, errything. Only major problem and one that Benjamin on The Brilliance mentioned in their review the other day is that it only [...]

Guitar Hero on Tour
Some things just aren’t meant to be small–things like Jimmy Dean sausages, the Bible, and Guitar Hero. The idea of Guitar Hero on the Nintendo DS might seem like a good idea until you see someone picking on a Gameboy screen and you remember why the electric ukulele never really caught [...]

Publicis & Hal Riney Website
Last week I answered a call on my iPhone headphones while walking down the street–you know, douche bag style. The problem was that when I answered it the person on the other end said “hey, look across the street!” and as I turned and saw the person and said “heyyy!” another person I knew was [...]

Go go gadget petrol-robot-fill ‘er upper-thingy!
Remember when Back to the Future II came out and how great the future looked? One of my favorite things was the robot gas station attendants at the Texaco. Tank Pitstop is the first robotic gas jockey to come to the Netherlands and hopefully we can all one day avoid [...]

W+K by DoDeca
This is the DoDeca camera by Imagemaker 360 being dragged around my all-time favorite ad agency Wieden+Kennedy’s Portland office. Click and drag on the screen to move the view around. So fun.

RealArtist for iPhone
I love the RealArtist app for iPhone. Get it from the Installer list under Toys if you have 3rd party apps enabled. It’s like turning your photos into Kristin Baker paintings with the flick of your finger. Yesssss.
